Road trip to Cornwall -
An adventure with curves, coast and character

There are trips that do something to you. Not just because you've been somewhere beautiful - but because you've felt how much freedom there is in movement. Our road trip to Cornwall was just such a journey. The first trip with the Flower of Life Evo, full of little wonders, unexpected paths and moments that will stay in your heart forever.

The journey begins:

The journey took us via Belgium, where we made a stop at a rally. Then we had an overnight stop in Calais and the next morning we set off very early for the first highlight: the car train through the Eurotunnel - a surreal moment when you know that you are driving under the sea in your vehicle with a train.

Before Cornwall completely captivated us, we stopped at some amazing places. Stonehenge - a place full of mystery, a “coffee stop” in Salisbury (Wiltshire) with scones and clotted cream at tea time and then we visited Wilton House and the Lord's car showroom and what can I say, a real car heaven from an Aston Martin to the GTR R34.

Then we finally made our way to Cornwall. Narrow, winding roads, a real adventure. Every bend held a new view in store. We had typical “English weather” for the most part, but also a few beautiful sunny days. Our little cottage in St. Agnes was also a dream! The sea in view, the wind on our skin. And the seagulls, who also stole the ice cream from our hands in St. Ives by the way. Cornwall was simply beautiful!

On the way back, we stopped off at Dartmoor National Park - a mystical place. The landscape was impressive and I got very close to the wild horses. We spent the night in a real English country hotel, full of charm, tea culture and style. I think you can feel the power of the land in Dartmoor - between the mist, the stone walls and the wide open fields.

Last but not least: London for a day. The city was just the opposite after so much nature. We went to Neal's Yard and the Seven Dials, saw Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. We also went to Notting Hill.

We returned home via Belgium again - with a head full of memories and the feeling that traveling in your own vehicle is so much more than just getting around. It's a way of life.

For me, it's Flower of Life Evo.
